I wasn't familiar with the franchise before, so I caught up watching the first film, and I'm glad I did. Rarely does a horror sequel surpass its predecessor, but Smile 2 manages to do just that.The performances are excellent, and the pacing keeps you fully engaged throughout.
However, the ending is the film's only real flaw
After such a gripping experience, the conclusion feels unsatisfying and unclear, leaving the audience without a clear resolution. While it maintains suspense, it falls short of rewarding the viewer for their investment in the story.
