A retired CIA agent is stalked by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when a stranger suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. Production was halted in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed and treated for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. After his recovery, the series resumed production. Bridges referred to this return as a “long weekend” comeback in a podcast in July 2022. Featured in the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). I watched this miniseries because of Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. They never disappointed, but the plot and screenplay did. Much of the plot was riddled with holes, and the supporting cast often felt wooden. A thriller like this should never bore an audience at times. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to me.
