According to the French newspaper Liberation, the alleged sexual harassment occurred halfway through filming, after a party held in an apartment with the cast and crew on July 1, 2023. The crew member, who was drunk and spent the night at the apartment where the party was held, alleged that Theis raped her in the early hours of the morning.
The director, meanwhile, argued that, according to Liberation, it was consensual
Theis remained on location for the rest of the production, but directed the film remotely.
