Tale
It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920’s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appear in the Ice Age franchise (2002–present). I always tend to get a little nervous when such big names star in a Netflix limited series. But I felt like this casting really nailed it and hit all the marks. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that was perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this as well. Great pacing, appropriate tension, lots of comic relief. For the first time, I didn’t expect the unexpected ending and every storyline seemed to be resolved until the last episode. I really liked it! I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new fast-paced streaming world.
