Taken from the true story of a haunted hotel in Semarang with the initial “S”. Followed by Place Wingit 2: Miss K (2024). It started off well for the first 10 minutes but after that it’s just plain and boring. I kept getting distracted every now and then and started losing interest but I kept watching hoping it would get better but it didn’t. The guy named Ardo kept saying obvious things like bro, we get it, okay we’re not dumb enough for you to need to point that out. On the bright side the effects aren’t bad, I expected it to be worse but it turned out okay. Some of the plot feels a bit rushed like there’s no explanation or cutscene to show what happened before and suddenly boom here we are. I love Indonesian horror movies, but I have to say this one is not for me.
