The series fully accelerates these elements and builds perfectly from the film
The environment was obnoxiously dark, and visually all you wanted to see was what it was called. A large part of it was its gangster underworld, which Oswald, aka Penguin, came to rule. I can’t say enough about Colin Farrell’s performance here and honestly, it might be his best work yet.
Even without Batman, the intrigue from him is so strong that you wouldn’t notice it
The guy gives the character the most gruff and gutsy feel he can and it’s done so well that it resonates. Some of the casting choices seemed a little off for a few, but on the other hand the characters are very well done. I can ignore it.This series sets up this Batman universe perfectly and I can’t wait to see where they go from here.
Easily the best series of the last decade
Give Colin Farrell all the accolades he deserves for this role.. Our "Yellowstone" Season 5, Episode 2, "The Squid Game" Season 2, and more of the most anticipated new and returning series coming to TV and streaming.
