After the German defeat, a boatload of women who survived the concentration camps were brought to Sweden. Someone had filmed the incident and director Gerton had previously identified two people in the film and made films about them.
They were separated but both survived
This is the third film, involving two women–Nelly Mousset Vos and Nadine Hwang. The two women met in Ravensbrück concentration camp and fell in love.

Years later, Nellie’s granddaughter contacted director Gerton, who made this meticulous documentary about a same-sex couple who traveled the world to be together. I thought it was a great movie and rated it a 10.
